Vernon County Historical Society

Visitors come to the Vernon County Museum and History Center in Viroqua all year ‘round to enjoy a changing array of exhibits and to do research using our extensive archives. Housed in a former teacher’s college built in 1918, displays and research materials cover native peoples, pioneer life, tobacco farming, rural schools, round barns, and much more.
