Armadillo Trousers w/ Loosey Stone @ Esofea-Rentz
Armadillo Trousers – a group of seasoned musician friends from the Madison area – will be rolling into Esofea/Rentz Memorial Park ready to jam their way through classic country and jazz standards. The lineup includes guitar, bass, drums, and banjo… which is already a pretty strong indicator that things could get interesting. Expect great tunes, a few toe-tappers, and at least one moment where someone in the crowd says, “Well I’ll be… that’s good.”
Kicking off the night is Loosey Stone, a Driftless indie-folk string quartet built around original songs, harmonies, storytelling, and the kind of musical chemistry that just clicks. With Rose and Christina trading lead vocals — and multi-instrumentalists Dave and Adrian adding layers of harmony and texture — Loosey Stone creates a sound that, much like their name suggests, settles in right where it belongs.
