Wilton

Wilton, Wisconsin

Wilton is the heart of the famous Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail, the first trail in the Rails to Trails system. Located mid-trail between tunnels number 1 and 2 (about a quarter mile long each), Wilton is also a gateway to Kickapoo River recreation.

The Village Campground provides a fine place to camp, with picnic shelters, a swimming pool, and a Sunday-morning pancake breakfast served by the Lions Club from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The campground is only a few blocks to the bike trail, clean and quiet with the amenities you are looking for. Open May 1st through November 1st.

Other lodging includes Bed and Breakfasts, guest houses, and cabins. Stop at a local dining establishment for a taste of the homemade in this peaceful and friendly town.
